So, hopefully everyone has recovered from Google induced heart attack by now. Luckily the entire Internet wasn’t actually completely consumed by some form of Malware, there was just a glitch in Google’s malware detection system.
With that said, I have decided to attempt to start writing on here again. While I am still enrolled full-time in college, and have a HUGE senior project to work on, there are some interesting new (at least to me) blog editing tools that I would like to try out. Tonight, I have decided to give Zoundry Raven a try. From first glance, I must say that I am very impressed. It seems to be very well polished. After installation, I was prompted to setup an account; all I had to do was enter my blog address, following which the software detected the platform I’m using and proceeded to download all my previous posts.
Writing articles seems to be pretty straightforward as well. All I have to do is click on the “write” button and I am taken into a sort of WYSIWYG editor that allows me to type up my whole post, save and publish it. Hopefully this will be a quicker alternative to logging into my blog every time I want to write something. I will be sure to keep you all posted. But, for now, it’s back to senior project design and planning.

Hey thanks for giving Raven and try, and for blogging about it!
I thought it might be worth mentioning (and possibly interesting to your readers) that Zoundry Raven has recently gone open-source. The project web site is:
http://code.google.com/p/zoundryraven
We are currently looking for developers who would like to help make Raven the best blog editor out there. So if anyone would like to help, please go to the project site above and send an email to either of the project managers.
